The 13.3" HD Mobius flexible Carta1250 screen with glass cover-lens offers a resolution of 2200 x 1650 Carta (207 dpi) and features BOOX stylus touch (4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity) as well as capacitive touch. Powered by a Qualcomm Advanced Octa-core CPU, the device boasts 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS2.1 ROM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0.

The device runs on Android 11 and supports a wide range of document formats, including PDF, DJVU, CBR, CBZ, EPUB, AZW3, MOBI, TXT, DOC, DOCX, FB2, CHM, RTF, HTML, ZIP, PRC, PPT, and PPTX. It also supports various image formats (PNG, JPG, BMP, TIFF) and audio formats (WAV, MP3). The tablet allows for the installation of third-party apps, and it features a power button, a USB-C port (with OTG support or audio jack functionality), built-in dual speakers, and a microphone.

The device is equipped with a front light that offers Warm and Cold Tone Modulation (CTM) and a G-sensor for auto-rotation. It is powered by a 6,300mAh Li-ion Polymer battery and has dimensions of 310 x 228 x 6.8 mm (12.2" x 9.0" x 0.27"), weighing ≤560g (19.8oz).

The four new refresh modes make it easier to read, browse, and use apps on the ePaper screen. The redesigned user interface brings the Tab X closer to a tablet experience, adding features like custom widgets and navigational buttons. The latest BOOX firmware allows users to insert hyperlinks into notes, sync book data across devices, and mark up recordings, among other versatile functionalities.

The built-in gravity sensor rotates the screen in response to user motion, enabling seamless use in any direction. The device's exclusive GPU ensures good performance in a variety of tasks, and the BOOX Super Refresh Technology provides a responsive refresh experience. The 50% thinner touch layer¹ creates a crisper 13.3'' screen, delivering a paper-like view, while the overall design is 1.1mm thinner than the previous 13.3" model², resulting in a sleeker appearance.
